Madonna Extends Madame X Tour

The Queen Of Pop, Madonna is scheduled to sell out stadiums around the country for her 2019 North American tour, Madame X.

After announcing 12 dates at Howard Gilman Opera House in New York, she has decided to include five more shows to that residency. In addition, she also is extending her visits to Chicago’s Chicago Theatre, Los Angeles’ the Wiltern, Las Vegas’ Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Boston’s Boch Center Wang Theatre, Philadelphia’s The Met and Miami’s Fillmore.

The Madame X tour is titled in support of her upcoming album, set to release June 14. “Madame X” is meant to be a representation of Madonna’s alter ego. In her billboard interview, Madonna stated,  “Madame X is a secret agent traveling around the world, changing identities, fighting for freedom. Bringing light to dark places. Madame X is a dancer. A professor. A head of state. A housekeeper. An equestrian. A prisoner. A student. A mother. A child. A teacher. A nun. A singer. A saint. A whore. A spy in the house of love. I’m Madame X.”

On April 17, Madonna revealed the first single off of the album, Medellín. If you haven’t had the opportunity to hear it, take a listen now before Madame X is released in two days!
